Greetings!
Thank you for visiting the University Accessibility website. I hope that you will find everything that you need on this site. We know that there is not a “one size fits all” solution to access issues. These issues may show up in a variety of contexts: in the classroom, residence halls, workplaces, restrooms, just to name a few. If you have a question, can’t find what you are looking for, need help finding a campus resource, or just want to offer a suggestion, please feel free to contact me. If I can’t help you, I’m happy to connect you with the appropriate resource.
All the best!

What Does “Accessible” Mean?
As defined by the Department of Justice (DoJ) in their Office of Civil Rights (OCR) resolutions, “accessible” means that a person with a disability is afforded the opportunity to acquire the same information, engage in the same interactions, and enjoy the same services as a person without a disability in an equally effective and equally integrated manner, with substantially equivalent ease of use. The person with a disability must be able to obtain the information as fully, equally, and independently as a person without a disability.
